My name is Alanah, I live in British Columbia, Canada, and (predictably) cheer for the Vancouver Canucks. I've been blogging hockey since October 2003 at my longtime blog Vancouver Canucks Op Ed, a project I often referred to as 'my badly behaved baby.' I loved my time there.
Then one day Paul Kukla told me I was getting boring and needed a new challenge, so I said goodbye to VCOE and now I'm here.;-)
Do I have any qualifications to talk hockey to you? Of course I do! I've got so much experience I could practically run the NHL. In fact, here's my resume for the job.

So thanks for visiting and perhaps I'll tell you more about myself another time. It's a fascinating story filled with life and death tales that will blow your mind.
Honestly. You'll be amazed.
P.S. I'm also a panelist -- along with 4 friends -- on a weekly podcast, The Crazy Canucks. It's not a very serious place; we just have fun talking Canucks hockey. (There's a whole lot of laughter and tears involved...)
Photo credit for the header of this site goes to Rebecca, two members of the podcast. (Thanks, guys!) Other members of the cast are J.J. and DaveO. They gave me nothing... ;)
